What is Vishwa MGGY?
It is a massive movement to protect the cows, to develop the villages and being prosperity and happiness to the nation and the world. It is an agro socio economic revolution, a second independence movement which will spread the message – save the cow, save the nation, save the world.
Shrimajjagadguru Shankaracharya Gokarna Mandaladheesha Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharathi Mahaswamiji, Shree Ramachandrapura Math ; has launched project Kamadugha fro the protection and propogation of indigenous cows. Bharathiya Gou Yathra – 2005, Vishwa Gou Sammelana are great mile stones in this movement. It is Shree Swamiji’s visionary wish to conduct V.M.G.G. Yathra to bring awareness in cow protection on a national level. This Yathra is promoted by Santh Mandal. Sants of national and international rapture Shree Shree Ravishankar Guruji, Shree Ramdevji Baba, Matha Amrithanandamayi, Acharya Maha Prajnaji, Acharya Rathna Sundarji, Acharya Vidyasagarji, Poojya Dayananda Saraswathiji have come forward to support the cause of the cow. Thousands of holy men of the Bharath will participate and promote the Yathra.
Objectives of the Yathra, Please Note :
Yathra will start on Vijayadashami Day, 2009.
The duration of the Yathra – 108 Days.
There will be 400 programmes all over India.
Yathra will cover a total distance of 20,000 kms.
Upa Yathras will start from Villages and join the Taluk, District and finally, the State.
Signature Campaign which aims to collect 21 crore signatures.
There will be Gou Poojas, Cultural Programmes, Gou Sandeshas by Gou Bhakthas and Artists.
The campaign seek the states of national animal for cow.
It seeks the total ban on cow slaughter.
It seeks the implementation of existing Act against cow slaughter.
To contact and co-ordinate gou bhakthas all over the country Siddhatha Yathra is being conducted from October, 2008 to Feb, 2009.
This is a call to the nation to unite and uplift the rural India and achieve national integration through gou matha.
